Happy National Day.

Last night's Beijing Olympics Opening was a BLAST. I was totally awe-stricken and captivated by the creativity, grandiosity and the pride of the Chinese towards their country... 

Think it shook the world.

I love the Olympics! All thanks to the Greeks! I love the sportsmen. The Olympics is a stark display of the manifestation of the human will.

It gives me goosebumps and a slight adrenaline rush just watching them.

Back to National Day, our strength is certainly incomparable to China's, thus we probably can't produce the same impact. However, there is no excuse not to be proud of SINGAPORE.

Sadly, what we see here is worse than not being proud of SG. We have seen and/or experienced people jeering at those who are/wanting to be patriotic.

Ok, I'm guilty of that. =P

So I asked myself why. And I couldn't find an answer. :) It just seems funny to suddenly love SG so much just for ONE day.
